For
those in RECOVERY from addictions
or compulsive behaviors
Living Free
is a recovery group
designed to help those overcoming an addiction or compulsive
behavior. The group meets on Tuesday evening from 6:30 -
7:45 p.m.
How
does it work?
Those who
participate come to know Christ and His power to chance
their lives. They also gain the practical tools to "work
their recovery" in an environment where they will be
encouraged, accepted and held accountable.
What
does a weekly meeting look like?
Each meeting will start with a group session (one for men
and one for women) to focus on the Christian 12 Steps of
Recovery and then will be followed by smaller Life
Transformation Groups (2-3 people maximum) for a time of
confession, accountability and a discussion of God's Word.
Each weekly session will last 75 minutes and will be held at
UVCC's campus in Piqua.
Can I
talk to someone before I come to a meeting?
Yes! Feel free to call Kevin Kuhn (214-6902), Angela Allison
(638-8534) or Pastor Andy Monnin (778-8822). We'll be glad
to answer any questions and help you decide whether Living
Free is a good fit for you.
