Small Groups |

Small groups are a great
place to connect with God and make new friends as you continue your
spiritual journey with people who care about you. These groups are
designed for relaxed times of sharing, prayer and Bible Study.
Involvement in a small group is a great way to meet new people,
build lasting relationships, and encourage one another to grow in
Jesus Christ. Many of these groups meet in the homes of people have opened up
their homes to provide a more relaxed and comfortable setting.
Others meet at the church in various locations.

Mothers of
Preschoolers (MOPS) |

Mothers of Pre-Schoolers
or MOPS
is a program for mothers with children ages birth through
Kindergarten. It is a great time to meet
other mothers who are in the same stage of life and to
enjoy food, have fun and make new friends. In addition, while
you're at MOPS, your children
have the opportunity to participate in fun, planned activities that
contribute to the child's social growth and spiritual development. |

Prayer and Card
Senders Teams |

The Prayer and Card
Senders Teams are two
very important ways the people of UVCC can make a difference in the
lives of others as well as provide positive and uplifting
encouragement.
Participants in the prayer chain receive notification of the
many needs and praises the people in our church voice for their
friends, family and themselves. These needs and praises are
then taken to God
in prayer.
Participants in
card senders receive
notifications of persons who are hospitalized, facing grief, or with
other special needs and are encouraged to send them cards and/or
notes of support and encouragement.
