Paul Jetter, Lead Pastor

Pastor Paul and his family, along with a small group
of other dedicated Christians, established Upper Valley Community
Church in July, 1994. Before moving to Piqua, he and his wife,
Mary, were missionaries for 14 years. |

Pastor Paul holds an
undergraduate degree in Zoology from Olivet Nazarene University and
a Masters of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. He
has pastored
churches in Michigan and Honduras as well as in Ohio.
As the lead pastor at UVCC, Pastor
Paul is responsible for the preaching and the general direction of
the church. Paul also writes a
weekly column for area
newspapers. His constant goal is to apply the Word of
God in a relevant and practical way to our present-day lives and his
greatest passion is reaching lost, unchurched people through
creative and innovative methods.
Paul and Mary
have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren.

Andy Monnin, Executive Pastor
|

| |

Pastor Andy and his family have been
part of UVCC since it was planted in 1994. Sensing God’s call to
enter full-time vocational ministry he changed careers in the summer
of 2000 and enrolled full-time at Nazarene Bible College in Colorado
Springs, completing the BA in Pastoral Ministry degree in May 2003.

Before he received his call to
full-time vocational ministry Andy worked twelve and a half years
for an Industrial Manufacturer, most recently in Sales & Marketing
Management. He has associate degrees in Electrical
Engineering Technology from Sinclair Community College and Aviation
Electronics from Spartan School of Aeronautics.
Pastor Andy’s primary responsibilities
at UVCC are to connect people into the church and help them become
fully integrated into the family of the church. He also helps
oversee some administrative functions and technology. Andy's
greatest passion is helping people of all ages become fully devoted
followers of Jesus Christ so that they can have the abundant life
God has prepared for them and to equip others to do the same.
Andy & his wife Paula have three children; Kristen, Daniel and Nathan.

Amy Davis, Children's Pastor
|

|
| |

|
Pastor Amy graduated with a
BS in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University in 2003.
She then studied at the Focus on the Family Institute until the fall
of 2003, a leadership development school that equips people to
promote healthy families, vibrant churches and a better society.
After completing her studies Amy traveled the country with Puppet
Productions and taught Puppetry, Gospel Magic, and Balloon Sculpting
with a team of people at different workshops and festivals held all
over the United States. |

Before coming to UVCC, Amy served as the Children Pastor and the
Preschool Administrator at the First Church of the Nazarene in St.
Mary’s, Ohio for two and a half years.
As the
Children’s Pastor at UVCC, Amy is responsible for directing a
dynamic team of servants to reach, win and grow children (up to
grade five) and their families in Christ. Her passions include
equipping parents and caregivers to be the primary spiritual guide
for their children and helping children grow in faith, wisdom, and
friendship. Amy’s primary passion, though, is to see children come
to a saving knowledge of the Jesus Christ. |

Steve
Marcum, Youth Pastor |

Pastor Steve and his family moved to Piqua from
Portage, Indiana where he served as an Associate Pastor of Youth for
two years. Prior to that, he had ministered to youth in Indiana,
South Carolina and upstate New York. Pastor Steve holds an
undergraduate degree in Christian Education, from Houghton Wesleyan
College, and a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership from
Columbia Biblical Seminary & Graduate School of Missions. He enjoys
soccer, music and is an avid Civil War buff. |

Pastor Steve is responsible for ministering to youth
grades 6-12. His passion is to develop young disciples of
Christ that discover who God created them to be and find their place
for service in His Kingdom.
Steve and his wife Julie have two children; Levi &
Lydia.
